IMA Engineering, a company redefining the mining industry for a more sustainable direction, is looking for a new Project Engineer to support the team in a growing business.

What will you be doing?

As a Project Engineer, you will be managing IMA Engineering’s international delivery projects from order to final commissioning. You will oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery, coordinating with internal teams and communicating directly with customers at mining sites. You will also take part in field operations, including installation and maintenance of equipment at customer sites and participation in the remote support team. The primary focus is to ensure that delivery projects and installations are carried out according to IMA and customer requirements.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in IMA Engineering\'s EU-level research and product development projects, contributing to the design and testing of prototypes and planning maintenance activities. This position offers an excellent chance to work in diverse mining environments worldwide.

We require you to have :

• Relevant educational background in the technical field
• A couple of years of experience in project execution in an industrial environment, preferably complemented by maintenance or field service background
• Good understanding of instrumentation
• Self-driven attitude and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to travel regularly to customer sites worldwide

Practical Matters :

This is a full-time and permanent position and you will be employed directly by IMA Engineering. The role requires regular travel to customer sites. IMA Engineering supports a flexible hybrid work model and values free time. We hope you can work from our Espoo office, but candidates based elsewhere in Finland are also considered. Salary is between EUR / month and the position will start as soon as possible.
