Overview

Responsibilities and qualifications for the role are described below. The candidate will work on designing, building and improving the client’s online platform, researching and implementing new technology solutions, ensuring resiliency and availability of products, and being a productive member of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
  • Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices / standards.
  • Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
  • Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

  • Lead functional requirements workshops and support project kick-off activities.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and finalize payroll configuration details for Strada Pay.
  • Identify and document deviations from standard product configurations and processes.
  • Work closely with the Product team to configure the payroll solution.
  • Validate the payroll setup and integrations during project testing cycles, including UAT and parallel runs.
  • Perform system data validations and coordinate defect resolution with technical teams.
  • Support data mapping and cross-system validations; resolve integration and data issues.
  • Define workarounds and provide clear resolutions for identified issues.
  • Contribute to project planning and documentation updates.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer to delivery and operational payroll teams for post-go-live support.
  • Proven experience in a functional consulting or analytical role within payroll outsourcing or payroll software.
  • Strong understanding of Finnish payroll regulations, tax compliance, and local legislation.
  • Hands-on experience across the full Finnish payroll implementation lifecycle.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to articulate, document, and present client requirements clearly.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools—particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; Finnish language skills are a strong plus.
