As Azure Data Engineer , you’ll work on diverse and technically demanding cloud-based customer projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data platforms and analytics solutions using modern technologies such as Azure Data Platform services, Databricks, and AI-powered tools. Your role includes architecture planning, data modeling, and building integrations in close collaboration with our clients and internal stakeholders.

You will also be a part of Norrin’s Data Engineering Guild, where you’ll have the opportunity to grow your expertise and share knowledge with a team of like-minded professionals. You actively stay up to date with new technologies and are eager to share your insights both with clients and internally across teams.

We value

Experience in developing Databricks and / or Fabric-based solutions within Azure environments

Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and integrations

Strong teamwork skills and a customer-centric mindset

A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and developing your skill set

Ability to work comfortably in client-facing roles and communicate technical solutions clearly

Fluent skills in both Finnish and English

Your technical skills include

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark

Experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse)

Solid understanding of data security and privacy principles

Bonus points for experience in : Power BI and automated reporting, Gen AI and machine learning models (MLOps), or cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake
