As a Summer Trainee – Process Performance Development , you will : ​

• Collect and validate process data from thickener and filtration units from the current installed base
• Analyze performance trends and correlations between thickener and filtration efficiency
• Define and calculate sustainability KPIs (e.g. : water recovery, energy reduction)
• Work with Product managers and Process Metallurgists to benchmark site performance against internal best practices to identify process improvement opportunities
• Develop basic process scenarios using HSC Sim to model upgrade options and conduct preliminary life cycle assessments

Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
