Business Development Manager, Growth Markets – Serres

Location : Espoo, Finland | ✈️ Requires (international) travel

Are you ready to shape international business in the healthcare sector? Serres is seeking a top-motivated and strategically minded Business Development Manager to build up new markets, and strengthen our distributor network and drive growth across our innovative product portfolio.

As Business Development Manager Growth Markets, you will be responsible for developing long-term sustainable business for Serres. Your focus will be on developing new markets, mainly in the Intercontinental area, and managing and expanding our distribution channels.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Achieving Revenue and profitability targets in the assigned markets
  • Strategic, tactical, and annual planning to drive sales and profitability
  • Identifying and evaluating new potential markets
  • Building, optimizing, and developing distributor networks, as well as managing existing distributors in the assigned markets
  • Ensuring operational efficiency with distribution partners (order handling, logistics, forecasting)
  • Sharing market insights across the organization, gathering, analyzing and utilizing market and competitors data
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams (Product Group, R&D, Regulatory, Service)
  • BSc / MSc in a commercial or technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development, ideally in healthcare
  • Proven track record in building and managing distributor networks
  • Experienced in building up new markets in the medical field
  • Excellent written communication and planning skills in English and Finnish, any other language of advantage
  • Strategic and analytical mindset
  • Advantageous : experience in Asian and Southeast Asian markets
