Tilkankoti is located in Pikku-Huopalahti with good transport connections and services nearby. Tilkan ryhmäkoti provides both supported and around-the-clock serviced living under one roof for adults with developmental disabilities. The group home has 45 resident places in three living groups. Residents are largely able to manage daily activities independently but require regular assistance, support and guidance in everyday life. Most residents participate in day or work activities on weekdays. The staff will take care of primary health care and specialized medical visits and other everyday matters where the resident needs support.

We are now looking for a lively and professional practical nurse to strengthen our strong team. The person should enjoy teamwork but also be able to work independently. We value professional approach and a willingness to develop.

Your duties include guiding residents in daily activities and performing basic care tasks according to individual needs. We promote resident participation and as a guide you support them to live their own way of life. We have 15 practical nurses, one nurse and one kitchen worker. Staff are on site around the clock. You will receive a good orientation to the task and collegial support from your colleagues.

Eligibility criteria :

Lähihoitajan tutkinto. We require registration in the Valvira central register of professionals.

Good spoken Finnish and satisfactory written Finnish.

In the position it is required to have vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act section 48 and a tuberculosis examination as per regulations.

LOP / LOVE LOP-lääkeluvan approved completion by the end of the trial period.

In the position it is required to present a criminal record extract for working with disabled persons (as per the Social Welfare and Health Care Act 741 / 2023, section 28).

We value previous experience in developmentally disabled work.
