You will join Sambla Group as the only Finland-based lawyer, responsible for supporting our Finnish operations in various legal matters and participating in group-wide legal projects.

In your daily work , you will support the Finnish business in product development and related matters from a financial regulatory compliance perspective, advise on consumer marketing topics, and assist with authority communications. You will draft and negotiate partner agreements, advise on corporate governance, labor law, GDPR, and compliance, monitor regulatory changes, train colleagues on legal topics, and develop standardized legal processes across the group.

You will join Sambla Group’s agile Legal & Compliance team, working closely with Finnish management and product teams. You will report to the Head of Compliance & Legal based in Stockholm and collaborate with a Sweden-based privacy lawyer. Occasional travel within the Nordics may be required.

We are looking for a lawyer with :

• A Master’s degree in law, preferably from a Finnish university
• At least three years of post-graduate experience in financial regulatory compliance, either in-house or at a law firm; experience in credit regulation is an advantage
• A desire to develop as a generalist legal counsel, with experience in consumer marketing, labor law, corporate governance, GDPR, anti-money laundering, or contract law appreciated
• An adaptive attitude, pragmatic problem-solving skills, and experience in building legal processes and conducting legal training
• The ability to work independently, responsibly, and proactively
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills
