Job Description :
Partner with our Customers to deepen collaboration & execute cluster Category Strategy. Develop and execute picture of success to improve quality & quantity of distribution and ultimately Mars and Total Category performance for the Customers in scope.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Deliver country Category Vision, focusing on mid & long-term growth opportunities for the category & Mars within regional local strategic choices scope – ensuring triple win : for the Shopper, the Customer and Mars.
- Develop, execute and follow-through on Shelf / Store of the Future & define future portfolio needs (focus on assortment and distribution opportunities)
- Work with customers in line with the agreed service agreement per customer (Category Captaincy Roadmap)
- Increase Net Sales covered by category captaincy following the customer collaboration framework deployment
- Deliver category projects to drive category growth with strategic partners – engage customers and ensure to deployment, tracking and post evaluating performance to foster new category expertise.
- Business Partner for KAM (sales) to agree and drive bold actions per customer related to Perfect Store (in-store execution). Strong collaboration with sales stakeholders, bringing local insights in the Perfect Store build-up and execution.
- Localise & present trade window / yearly negotiation presentations – to ensure best in-class category execution
- Educate and present key insights to field sales stakeholders on category and / or new product launches
- Provide inputs to internal management processes, in collaboration with several internal stakeholders
- Country, customer, Mars and competitor intelligence
- Active contribution to engaged category team driven by the best talents in the industry
What are we looking for?
3+ years minimum experience in Trade Marketing, Marketing or Sales; minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.Understanding of the FMCG and Nordic retail contextA genuine interest in data driven trade marketing & good analytical skillsStakeholder Management experience in a multi-cultural environment required, with good communication skillsFluency in English requiredWhat can you expect from Mars?
