The Bundesbank operates its own data service center, which offers, among other things, high-quality services related to access to selected Bundesbank microdata for scientific research projects. Simple and fast application channels, competent support for data users and data refinement are our core business.

Work of particular value : your work with us

  • You create user-friendly analysis data sets from the Bundesbank's microdata pool, document them and make them available.
  • You will focus on the preparation and linkage (record linkage) of various data sources on financial and non-financial companies using suitable machine learning and AI methods.
  • You will be involved in expanding the cross-divisional management of corporate and sustainable finance data as well as the national and international research data infrastructure.
  • You will provide services for internal and external data users (consulting, project organization, confidentiality checks) and participate in committees and interdisciplinary projects.
  • To a limited extent, you will carry out your own research and present the results at international conferences.

Special values : Your qualifications

  • Completed Master's degree or equivalent degree in economics, (business) informatics, mathematics, statistics, physics or a comparable quantitative degree program
  • Very good programming skills in Python; good knowledge of Stata
  • Good knowledge of mathematical-statistical methods and very good knowledge of machine learning and AI-based language models
  • Experience in evaluation, documentation and analysis or research with microdata, ideally in the field of record linkage
  • Strong ability to analyze, evaluate and concisely present complex issues, preferably proven by a doctorate and / or publication
  • Independent, structured and at the same time team-oriented way of working
  • Strong service and customer orientation
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
