Responsibilities

As a Senior Program Specialist at Honeywell, you will be at the forefront of project management excellence, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Hold ultimate responsibility for delivering and managing projects on time and within budget, effectively managing risks.
  • Act as the primary interface to Honeywell’s customers, embodying professionalism consistent with Honeywell values.
  • Review and manage the project scope as sold, producing, monitoring, and maintaining project delivery schedules.
  • Produce accurate commercial forecasts and reports, closely monitoring revenue, margin, cost budgets, and billings throughout the project.
  • Lead project teams in adopting, implementing, and complying with policies, processes, and business and project execution best practices.
  • Assess and manage internal and external resources, including subcontracting, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Engage with sourcing to manage and negotiate third-party suppliers for material plan and budget attainment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design specifications and project documentation.
  • Manage Honeywell and third-party equipment inspections and tests.
  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure customers and management are aware of changes in project scope.
  • Track project status and provide monthly reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage risks and opportunities, taking early action to minimize risks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to time, budget, and customer satisfaction.
  • Control and report revenue, cost, billing, and GM to ensure performance against forecasts.
  • Manage projects' Working Capital, ensuring billing is as per contract or better and all payments are collected timely.
  • Champion and lead project Quality Assurance.
  • Drive the Honeywell safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements / regulations.

Key Skills and Experience : We are seeking a candidate with the following skills and experience :

  • 3-5 years experience in managing a variety of projects within an engineering environment, including managing local and remote teams
  • Experience in managing project financials and managing negotiations with clients / suppliers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and manage conflicting priorities
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, flexible
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills in both Danish and English
  • Proficient in project management tools and techniques including PMIS, MS Project and SAP
  • Willing to travel

This role requires both overseeing teams and managing stakeholder expectations in a professional manner that aligns with Honeywell’s values.
