RoleDescription

This is a full-time,on-site role for a Mechanical Design / MechatronicsEngineer at AQL Robotics labs in Tampere. The roleinvolves designing robotic systems and actuators, creatingprototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams todevelop innovative products.

RequiredQualifications

Proficiencyin CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Fusion360).

Strong knowledge ofmaterials, 3d printing, machining, and manufacturingprocesses.

Ability to designfor assembly, reliability, andmanufacturability.

Abilityto move fast and takeownership.

Excellentproblem-solving and communicationskills.

Work effectively ina cross-functional, international teamenvironment.

Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or arelated field.

Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency inFinnish is a plus.

PreferredQualifications

Design : Advanced proficiency in CAD software (Fusion 360 or similar) andmechanical design.

TechnicalExpertise : Experience with additive manufacturing and machiningprocesses (3D printing, CNCmachining,...).

Robotics& Automation : Hands-on experience designing and buildingcomponents such as actuators, grippers, and robotic arms. Relevantexperience in other, related fields, is alsovalued.

Analytical Skills : Solid understanding of mechanics, kinematics, and controlsystems.
