Job Summary
SiTime is hiring an International Accountant who will be a key contributor to the finance team and responsible for maintaining the accounting and reporting for several of SiTime’s international entities. This individual will be responsible for contributing to the general ledger and related functions and must be able to partner with local accountants to analyze monthly activities. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical and inquisitive with strong attention to detail and should be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that is extremely demanding and deadline-driven, with a strong understanding of full cycle accounting, finance, audit, and accounting principles. Clear communication, understanding of processes, efficiency, and quality of work product is emphasized.
Responsibilities :
- Primary liaison between US headquarters, the Company’s international accounting firms, and local accountants based upon country time zones, handling all issues and inquiries, including, but not limited to :
- Prepare and post journal entries (intercompany, accruals, payroll, etc.)
- Perform reviews, analyses, reconciliations, and evaluations of general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Perform activities associated with international accounting including intercompany transactions, reconciling balances with subsidiary entities, coordinating with in-country firms for statutory filings, maintaining subsidiary ledgers, and international audits.
- Support your colleagues in financial areas of Fixed Assets, accounts payable, and payroll wherever else your financial skills are needed ensuring financial accuracy and completeness.
- Prepares ad hoc reporting and financial data as needed.
- Play a key role in interim and annual audits.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;3+ years of accounting experience, experience in a global company preferred;Experience with General Ledger, month-end closing, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial statements required;Working knowledge of GAAP is required;Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel skills, and ability to analyze raw information, conclude, and develop actionable recommendations.Desired Characteristics & Attributes :
