JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a logistics coordinator to join our team in Rovaniemi for a temporary assignment of 24 months.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a truly international environment, expand your knowledge and gain valuable insights into international trade, powersports industry environment, and challenging logistics and shipping processes.

Your key responsibilities as logistics coordinator

Coordinate & ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency in logistics operations
Arrange and schedule transportations with the carriers with good follow-up
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to facilitate communication
Address and resolve any issues, shipping delays, damaged goods or any discrepancies promptly
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Assist in preparation & management of different documents and invoices
Participate in warehouse stock count activities, administration and reporting
Continuously look for opportunities to optimize the supply chain and streamline processes
Assist colleagues and provide backup when needed

Your profile and skills

Fluent in English, with a good knowledge of Finnish

Bachelor’s degree or similar in Logistics or other relevant area

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.

Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.

Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Service minded and result oriented team player

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Knowledge of PowerBI is considered a plus

Knowledge of SAP S4 / ECC is considered a plus

This position is based in Rovaniemi.
