Job description

We are looking for a dedicated System Admin with a focus on database operations (m / f / d) to join our dynamic team. The position is to be filled immediately, ideally at our location in Coburg. Home office several times a week is possible, 100% remote work is also conceivable.

Your tasks :

Administration and maintenance of database systems (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Monitoring system performance and ensuring availability
Installation, configuration and updating of database systems
Restoring databases from backups
Configuration and management of database backups
Troubleshooting and support for database systems
Ensuring data integrity, security and availability
Creation and maintenance of system and database documentation
Administration and support of Linux and Windows server systems
Installation, configuration and updating of applications to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications

Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration, completed studies in computer science / information technology or a comparable degree

Several years of experience in database and system administration or a similar position

Sound knowledge in the administration and maintenance of database systems

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)

Knowledge of network technologies (LAN / WAN, routers, switches, firewalls)

Fluent German and good English skills
