We are looking for a Senior Lead Data Scientist to join our 24 / 7 Intelligence Analytics team, developing cutting-edge predictive maintenance solutions for our connected equipment. You’ll play a key role in enabling intelligent decision-making through data and AI – ensuring reliability and performance for millions of users worldwide.

The role is located in Espoo / Hyvinkää Finland. We work in a hybrid model so there’s possibility to work remotely couple of days a week.

In this role, you will

Collaborate with business and engineering teams to identify challenges and design impactful analytical solutions
Build, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models to enable predictive capabilities and intelligent insights
Productionize analytical solutions and implement algorithms leveraging large-scale IoT data
Champion data science best practices and drive technical excellence in analytics architecture

We are looking for someone with

PhD / MSc or equivalent knowledge in data science, computer science, or related quantitative fields

Proven experience in developing, deploying, and managing analytical solutions at scale

Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques

Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow

Experience with modern cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but Azure / GCP are also valued)

Familiarity with DevOps and CI / CD practices (e.g., Terraform, GitLab CI / CD)

Knowledge of test automation frameworks, such as Robot Framework and unit testing practices

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills

A curious mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
