We are now looking for an Area Sales Manager based in Finland, who wants to be part of shaping our presence in the Finnish market. You will join our Nordic sales team, a committed and collaborative group with strong team spirit, short decision paths, and innovative solutions. This is an independent role with full responsibility for driving the sales process – from first contact to signed agreement. Please note that the position does not include leadership responsibility.

This is a full-time remote position. We have a small office in Jyväskylä available for occasional use, but the role is primarily home-based with regular travel within the region.

We are in an exciting growth phase across the Nordics, which means things are constantly evolving in our organization. To succeed and feel engaged in this role, you should enjoy taking ownership, be solution-oriented, and feel comfortable in a fast-changing environment.

Your tasks

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible foridentifying new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and managing the entire sales cycle – from needs analysis and solution design to negotiation and closing. You will collaborate closely with both local experts and your colleagues across the Nordic sales team – including specialists in engineering, product management, and project delivery – to create customer value at every step.

Your responsibilities include :

Exploring new market segments such as heatlhcare and 3PL providers

Managing and growing your own key accounts

Developing tailored solutions and quotes in collaboration with internal teams

Representing Kardex at customer meetings, trade shows, and events

Sharing insights and best practices with your Nordic sales colleagues

Who You Are

You have experience in B2B sales and are used to working with technical, complex deals and longer sales cycles. You’re self-driven, relationship-oriented, and like to take full ownership – from initial contact to closing the deal. You adapt easily to change and thrive in a dynamic setting.

We also believe you have :

Strong technical understanding and business acumen

Experience using CRM systems

The ability to listen, analyze, and challenge customer needs

Fluency in Finnish and good proficiency in English

Driver’s license (B category)

Experience from automation, warehouse / logistics solutions, or related industries is a plus – but more importantly, you have solid sales skills and a structured, customer-oriented mindset.
