Global Project / Program Manager, Plant Equipment Engineering

Description

We are looking for a Global Project / Program Manager for Plant Equipment Engineering in the Mining Industry. In this role you would be located in Espoo .

You will lead, manage and coordinate a global team of experts of Plant Equipment Engineering. The team consists of highly skilled engineers and experts. As the business is global, you need to have willingness to travel.

You will have a key role and the possibility leave your own footprint in our business and operations. You will be the key player in implementing your department strategy, calling the shots concerning your department, developing our customer relationships further, sales activities, and competence development. You will also steer your team as closest line manager. Additionally, you will have the possibility to keep the touch in operative engineering design projects when needed. Our projects are equipment engineering, technical documentation and digital solutions focused on mining industry. In this role, you will report to the Head of Center of Excellence.

Main Responsibilities :

• Sales actions : recognise and act on new sales leads, provide sales support and offer preparations of plant equipment engineering
• Resource management by ensuring competent and efficient department
• Work with COE head to deliver “specific projects” to the customers on time and with customer budget expectations.
• Provide a clear view of the dependencies and drive resolution of project execution issues.
• First point of contact on project report and metrics
• Own and drive project plan, project metrics
• Identify project needs and dependencies and work with necessary stakeholders for resolutions.
• Provide transparent view of the project performance to COE Head, Delivery Head, Sales and BU Leadership
