About Huawei Finland R&D
With 28 sites across Europe and over 2000 researchers, Huawei’s European Research Institute (ERI) oversees fundamental and applied technology research, academic research cooperation projects, and strategic technical planning across our network of European R&D facilities. Huawei Finland Research Center was established in 2012. This position will lead the Tampere Camera Lab hardware team consisting of about 15 specialists. The team has world class capabilities in camera module technologies like optics, actuators, camera module mechanics and camera system including state of the art laboratory facilities for optics and camera module measurements. The focus is in camera technology innovations for Huawei smartphones with 2+ years’ timeframe and develop them from idea to a functioning prototype. The challenge is to come up with new ideas to further enhance the imaging performance of Huawei smartphones imaging capabilities both in photography and machine vision areas.
Your leadership will give direction and priorities to the team. You will form the direction through your excellent knowledge on camera technologies and smartphone imaging competitive situation, continuous dialogue between Huawei teams in Europe and China and innovations together with the team members.
